24 Weeks and Prenatal Checkup

I am 24 weeks pregnant and feeling pretty good. Having the usual aches and pains but nothing that I wasn't expecting or can't deal with. AJ also felt the baby move this week for the first time. He is very active at night and loves to kick and roll around while I'm trying to fall asleep. Also had my prenatal checkup today too. Everything went well and the baby's heartbeat sounded good and strong. The ultrasound calculated the baby's due date to be 8 days sooner than what we were first told so the doctor said to not be surprised if the baby comes end of July. That was fun to hear and will be interesting to see when he decides to finally show up.

Lydia's Baptism

We celebrated our niece and God daughter's baptism this weekend. She looked adorable in her dress, the same that our girls wore, and did great through the ceremony.

Jordyn Gets Her Ears Pierced

Jordyn got her ears pierced this afternoon and did great. She sat very still and didn't even shed a tear! She loves her pink flower earrings but still not too sure about having to sleep in them every night.
On our way home from Claire's.
Showing off her necklace she got for being such a big girl while getting her ears pierced.

Cozy with the Computer

Raegan and Jordyn like to hangout and play games on the computer. Whether it's Webkinz or Nick Jr. they (mostly Raegan) have mastered using these two websites. Still baffles me that my 5 year old can work a computer better than some grown adults and that her sister is not very far behind.

Babysitting Our Niece Lydia

We babysat our niece, Lydia, this weekend for the first time. She was the perfect little angel and it was good for the girls to be around a little baby to get used to the idea of their little brother arriving in a few months.

Driving Lessons

You can imagine my reaction when I saw Raegan driving the mower around our yard this afternoon! AJ thought it was about time she starts learning to handle the mower and was giving her some driving lessons. Needless to say, she was very excited and nothing but smiles. It wasn't but 2 minutes after I took this picture that AJ learned that 5 year olds probably shouldn't be driving mowers. (I promised him that I wouldn't say what she ran into!) Jordyn then decided she was ready to drive the Barbie Jeep. She usually likes Raegan to drive and just ride along. She did a very good job and didn't run into anything. I can just see these girls in the next 10 years or so. Oh my, I'm stressing already!

Flying Kites

It was the perfect day to fly the girls' new kites so we got them set up in our back acre and they had a blast flying them.

Easter Sunday

We had a wonderful Easter this year. We spent the day playing with their goodies, going to church and having a great time hanging out with AJ's family for lunch and supper.

The Easter Bunny Came to Our House

The "Easter Bunny" came to our house this year and the girls were very excited with everything they got. It was a summer theme so they got kites, bubbles, beach towels, jump ropes and other goodies. Now we just need the warm weather to go with.

Enjoying the Warm Weather

The start of our Easter weekend began with lots of warm weather. The girls wanted to put on a new outfit and play outside. We spent the whole day outside playing, eating popsicles, washing our car and getting some sun. Can't wait for the rest of the weekend.

Trains, Build-A-Bear and Eggs

This week we went to Toledo to hangout with Grandma and Grandpa Lantz. My mom wanted to take the girls to Build-A-Bear for their Easter gifts. They were pretty excited because it was going to be their first time. We had a great time at the Workshop and couldn't believe how many different outfits there were to pick from. Later that night the girls colored eggs with Grandma and Grandpa. Always a fun time in Toledo!!
