40th Wedding Anniversary

We celebrated AJ's parents 40th wedding anniversary at a local Mexican restaurant. Had a great night with delicious food and lots of laughing.

Liz's Bridal Shower

While Liz and Greg (my brother and his fiance) were in town for Thanksgiving we held a bridal shower for her. It was a really nice time and an afternoon spent with some great women. We can't wait for Liz to officially become apart of our family this January!!!

Celebrating Thanksgiving with the Lantz's

This year we spent Thanksgiving weekend with my family in Toledo and got to spend some quality time with eachother. It's not very often all of us are able to get together considering some are coming from Milwaukee and San Diego. We had a blast and can't wait when we can all be together again.

My brother, Greg, is an amazing guitar player and he loves to entertain the kids with all kinds of music and fun sing alongs. I think Raegan and Paul IV could do this all day long. Thanks Greg for being such a sweet Uncle!

An Afternoon at the Salon

Raegan has been bugging me to let her chop her hair for the last month, so I made the appointment and while doing so decided all three of us should get haircuts. I have never attempted to do this, but one of my best friends cuts my hair and they know her really well and the salon is super kid friendly. So off we went and ended up having a really good time.

All done! She sat like a big girl and her hair is so bouncy and curly now. Looks adorable!

Side shot. It was really starting to get long and the whole time Kacey cut it we both kept saying how sad it was to see it go. She's got some beautiful thick hair.

The back is finished. She had to sit for a long time with her head down until Kacey was able to cut all of it. She did a good job sitting still.

The after picture. Looks great and she's so happy with it. No more fights over ponytails and trying to get it out of her face.

Even Mommy got a quick trim. An hour and a half later and we were still smiling. Thanks again Kacey! I might actually do this again. Haha!!!

Happy Birthday Mom!

The girls and I met my Mom in Grand Rapids to take her out to lunch for her birthday. We had a great afternoon playing on the playground, walking along the river, shopping in their cute little stores and eating lunch at a yummy pizza joint. The girls love their Grandma and I never take it for granted that they have such a great bond with both sets of their Grandparents.

This is an old fashioned candy store they have in town. It's not very often you see a set up like this anymore. You should see how big the girls' eyes get every time we come in here. Not to mention the whole second floor is filled floor to ceiling with toys. Kid heaven!!

Out to Dinner with Friends

We went out to eat Friday night with the Hampton's and Healy's. Always a fun time when all of us get together with our 6 kids.
