Country Living

I will be the first to admit that there are some things that I miss about living in the city or suburbs, but when I am able to see this sunrise out of my living room window it makes me appreciate the fact that I (and my kids) are not surrounded by buildings and cement. There is something about the openness of the country that I rarely take for granted.

Zach is 8 Weeks Old

Zach has turned 8 weeks old! It's crazy to think its already been two months since we had him and we couldn't imagine our family without him in it. He's such a sweet, smiley, funny guy. He's always doing funny faces and "cooing" to us. Unfortunately, he's had some trouble with eating lately. Seems he has a really sensitive stomach and can't eat if he has any air or gas in his belly. It's been tough figuring out how to make him happy and painfree but we seem to be on the upside of this little problem. Overall, he's a joy to have around and it's so fun to see him do new things every week. We really are blessed to have him.

Hanging Out with Big Sis

Jordyn is such a great big sister. She loves to hang out with Zach on the floor and play with him. She is also such a great big helper when he is crying or just wants some attention. She's always there to try and make him happy. He is a very lucky little boy to have two sisters that love him so much.

Happy Anniversary

Happy 7 year anniversary to my hubby! We had a great weekend spending time in Toledo with my parents. They watched the kids for us while we went to a friends wedding Saturday night. It just happened to be at the same place we had our reception 7 years earlier. It brought back so many great memories.

I love this man more today than ever before and feel so lucky to have him in my life.

Zach's 4 Weeks Old

Zach has had a busy couple of weeks. He had his 4 week checkup and weighs 10 lbs. 8 oz. Overall he's in the 85%! Momma couldn't be prouder. He's also taking baths in the tub now which he absolutely loves. He just sits there and smiles through the whole thing and then crashes for a long nap afterwards. Funny how its so much work for him to be pampered. Typical man!

The Grandkids

I remember about 6 years ago my parents talking about how they were so ready for some grandkids. I guess you better be careful with what you wish for! 5 grandkids from ages 5 1/2 to 4 weeks. Just waiting for Greg and Liz to add to the chaos. HA HA!! But our kids couldn't ask for more amazing grandparents.
